Today we want to raise $1000 in effort to support our World Relief Campaign. Through the WRC, we have the opportunity to provide accessible and reliable healthcare to communities in rural Honduras. We are helping equip these communities with resources that otherwise would not have safe and sterile environments to perform healthcare. Can you help us meet our goal? The Humanity and Hope Foundation has been selected for the 2022 World Relief Campaign, organized annually for Valparaiso University by the Social Action Leadership Team (SALT). Humanity and Hope United is an organization based in Warsaw, Indiana and assists three villages in Honduras. Our campaign entitled “HOPE for Honduras: Healthcare Opportunities for Personal Empowerment” is working to raise $25,000 in an effort to turn two shipping containers into fully functioning health clinics for the villages that Humanity and Hope United serves. These clinics will serve as a sterile and safe environment for villagers to receive healthcare, and will also be staffed by trained healthcare professionals. They will also serve as a designated space for wholistic health education for the members of these communities and provide them with future job opportunities. Having these clinics within the villages will enable the individuals they serve to be proactive in their own health and have access to reliable and affordable healthcare.

Hi! Tomorrow at 2pm SALT is hosting a virtual "restorative" self-care event. Sign up for yoga, art, or fitness using the link below. This is a donate what you can event and all proceeds go to restoring two homes that will provide safe housing and resources for formerly incarcerated men.

These are the statistics that make our campaign meaningful. At the heart of the problem that is mass incarceration lies the issue of housing. If individuals do not have a safe space to be at the end of the day, they cannot properly function in other aspects of their life. Help us provide housing for formerly incarcerated individuals in Gary, IN today by donating to the World Relief Campaign.
