There's something happening here. What it is ain't exactly clear... Yet!

Stay tuned for more info to come soon. Meanwhile, if you landed here looking for the timebank in Northwest Indiana, never fear -- it still exists! The timebank is undergoing a re-branding and is being developed into hyper-local hubs, the first of which is getting started in Valparaiso.

If you're available to join us on Friday, April 26th for a Timebanking 101 event in Valparaiso, please get more details and rsvp here: http://evite.me/C7f3pcjpMX.

Meanwhile, the CoThrive Community name is going back to its original mission of providing a way for people to share ideas about how to make communities better, including timebanking!

I hope to have a nice new home for the timebank to live online very soon. We will be co-creating that new space -- from the name and every other detail.

CoThrive Community is a proud supporter of NWI Food Council Food Expo and Discussion (FED 2018) on February 23rd. Registration is now open!

The theme this year is food justice. There are a lot of great speakers lined up. CoThrive Timebank's own Christine Maloney and Kathy Legner Sipple will be presenting talks on the Sustainable Community track. There will also be a track specifically to learn about the history of food access in Northwest Indiana, the current state and the future as well as an entrepreneurial track, geared more for growers and people engaged in food-related business.

We hope to see some familiar faces!

Join us on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 for a daylong event exploring food topics. FED is open to all — whether you eat food, play a role in the food system, or have a passion for food issues! Come for any part of the day. 8:00am Producer/Buyer Speed Networking (advance registration requested) 8:00...

Allow each moment to have it's own development, step-by-step, like a plant growing around obstacles. Your goal is not somewhere out there but somewhere in you, a seed with it's own pattern of growth and timing.

I am happy to be the facilitator for this event and grateful to Unity in the Dunes for allowing us to host the event in their beautiful and welcoming space. I am also delighted to have Katherine Osby's help with coordinating and running the event.

The Awakening the Dreamer Symposium is a half-day transformative journey that educates people on the challenges and possibilities of this moment in time and the role they can play in creating a new future.

If you've been wanting to change "the way things are", but are not sure what is yours to do to help change things, this is a great event that can help you unlock your path and network with like-minded others who want to help create the more beautiful future we know is possible for our earth and its people.

Sign up for an upcoming workshop or event hosted by a Pachamama Alliance community or volunteer!

I (Kathy Legner Sipple) will be presenting at a Merrillville Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday. In preparation, I created this map showing where our regional members are located. It was fun to see where we are clustered and start to see even more patterns coming together for how we can make great things happen! Congratulations to all the members of CoThrive Timebank for getting this far. :)

My Maps makes it easy for you to create beautiful maps and share them with others.

We are about $200 short... Can you help fund our volunteer insurance bill? We are committed to relying on donations to keep us running, so we depend on the generosity of members and other interested communitarians! Even $5 helps. Thanks!

We are building community by creating a modern system of exchange where we swap our skills, talents and resources for the purpose of building community.
