String-A-Long Quilt Guild String-A-Long Quilt Guild is a group of quilters who meet each month to share our love of quilting. Come join us! We meet at Valparaiso Nazarene Church, Door 4.

String-A-Long Quilt Guild is a group of quilters who meet the second Thursday of each month to share our love of quilting. The church is located on the corner of Silhavy and Glendale, 2702 E Glendale, Valparaiso , IN 46383, on the second Thursday of the month - March thru December at 6:30pm. Doors open at 5:30. Winter months of January and February are at 10:00 a.m. We welcome all levels and styles of quilters who want to learn, share and join us in promoting the art of quilting.

The String-A-Long Stars and Stripes of Northwest Indiana celebrated its 12th anniversary. The group has awarded 1,000+ quilts to veterans and continued this practice by awarding two veterans with Quilts of Valor during the monthly meeting. Currently 25% off on fabric, kits, pre-cuts, batting, needles, thread, notions, etc.! Everything must go! New items still arriving! We will accept Cotton Hearts Quilt Shop gift certificates, credit & debit cards, and cash. Minimum 1 yard bolt cuts. No personal or shopping bags allowed. All sales final.

At our March meeting, members were treated to a visit from Penny, the owner of Clothesline Creations in Middlebury, IN. She shared some of the classes, fabrics, and tools that are available at her shop. Many were interested in learning about how to use facing instead of binding to finish a quilt.
