With more than 3 million supporters, activists and volunteers in over 150 countries, and complete independence from government

, corporate or national interests, we work to protect human rights worldwide. Our vision is of a world in which every person - regardless of race, religion, gender, or ethnicity - enjoys all of the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards.

I Came to Testify

Tuesday, November 8 at 5:30pm in Ulbricht

Amnesty International, International Law Society, and Women Law Student Association are pleased to invite you to a screening of I Came to Testify. A film in the groundbreaking special series, Women, War, and Peace, which is
the most comprehensive global media initiative ever mounted on the roles of women in peace and conflict.
I Came to Testify is the moving story of how a group of 16 women who had been imprisoned by Serb-led forces in the Bosnian town of Foca broke history’s great silence – and stepped forward to take the witness stand in an international court of law.

Pizza and soda will be provided.
