We need 37 more people to donate $46 to meet our goal and get a H back into nursing school! Give any amount to help us meet the goal. Thank you for your love, care, and generosity! Goal deadline is the end of the month. ✨

One woman’s joy, fueled by your generosity. ✨

In 2017, Fatuma joined Shine’s empowerment program.
She learned the basics of business and received her first small business grant.

Today, her businesses, including this matooke cart, provide for her entire family. They cover school fees, even supporting her oldest daughter in nursing school.

This is what redemption through opportunity looks like.🌿

Meet Pastor Robert and his family. Pastor Robert has been with Shine since its beginning 8 years ago. He was already pastoring a church in this community (and continues to) and served with Shine until we were able to offer him a full time position.
He faithfully leads and serves with a humble spirit and wise heart. Shine is so grateful to have him and his beautiful family as part of ours. ✨

Remember Baby Nakato who we took to India for life saving heart surgery when she was a baby? This is her (right) and her twin sister Babirye today at Saturday ministry. 💕
This is something extra special about Shine: since we live in the community we get to serve, we have the blessing of walking with these families even after these big events.
Thank you to every person who gives. You are such a blessing in this community and beyond! 🤍
