📖 "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." — Micah 6:8

Three things. That's the whole list.

Act justly — don't look away from what's wrong.

Love mercy — don't just tolerate people, delight in showing up for them.

Walk humbly — stay small enough to be useful.

Good Grace Ministries isn't trying to build an empire. We're trying to stay faithful to three things. When we drift, this verse pulls us back.

🔥 OUR MAN IS IN THE RUNNING — AND WE NEED YOUR VOTE.

Most of you know Greg (Thomas) Thompson as the guy who shows up early, fires up the grill, and makes sure nobody leaves our outreaches hungry.

He's flipped burgers and served hot meals to our neighbors on the streets of Northwest Indiana — not for applause, not for recognition, just because that's who he is.

Now Greg has been nominated for Carla Hall's Favorite Chef competition — and we think it's time the world saw what we already know.

This man cooks with purpose. Every plate he's served at our outreaches has carried dignity with it. That's not just skill — that's character.

📖 "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me." — Matthew 25:35

There's a theology that stays in the building.
And then there's one that gets in the car.

We've learned more about the character of God in parking lots, on sidewalks, and under bridges than we ever could have sitting still.

Because that's where He lives — in the face of the forgotten, in the voice of the overlooked, in the hands that reach back when you reach out.

Street ministry isn't a program. It's a classroom. And we are still very much students.

🇺🇸 Today we honor those who gave all.

And we serve those who have been given nothing.

Many of the men and women we encounter on the streets are veterans — people who sacrificed for this country and still find themselves without a place to call home. Their service didn't end when their struggle began.

This Memorial Day, Good Grace Ministries is out here — honoring the fallen by loving the living.

Thank you to every veteran, every Gold Star family, every person who has borne the cost of freedom. We don't forget.

📖 "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute." — Proverbs 31:8

Some people are invisible not because they're hidden — but because everyone has agreed not to look.

GGM refuses that agreement.

We show up with names, not case numbers. With presence, not pity. We believe that to advocate for someone is to declare that their life has weight — that God didn't make a mistake when He made them.

If you know someone who's struggling and doesn't know where to turn — reach out. We'll show up.

📖 "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter?" — Isaiah 58:6-7

God has a lot to say about what real religion looks like.

It's not louder worship sets. It's not bigger buildings. It's not platforms.

It's broken chains. Shared tables. Open doors.

The Church has always been most alive when it's been most costly. When it gave what it couldn't afford. When it loved who it couldn't explain.

That's the call. We're answering it. We'd love for you to answer it with us.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”
That is the heart of ministry. Feeding. Serving. Welcoming. Loving people right where they are.
We do not serve to be seen. We serve because Jesus first served us.
