Game Night + Karaoke Night is taking a rain check!

Tomorrow night’s event has been postponed, but don’t worry, the games and karaoke fun will be back. We’re working on a new date and can’t wait to get everyone together for a night of games, music, laughs, and community.

We can't wait to see you at the Porter County Fair tomorrow for Special Needs Day!

Individuals with special needs and a companion are invited to ride the carnival rides for free from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in a sensory-friendly environment where the lights will be dimmed and sound reduced.

Camp is this Friday, and we are so excited!

For parents of kids with special needs, camp can bring a mix of hope, nerves, and a thousand little questions.

Will they be understood? Will they be included? Will they be safe? Will someone see what makes them wonderful?

That is why The Sunshine Center matters. Every child deserves a camp experience where they are not just accommodated, but celebrated.

One day. A whole lot of fun. And everyone is welcome.

Join us for our One-Day Summer Camp on June 26 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Heartland Christian Center. Kids will spend the day learning about God, playing games, making crafts, and building friendships in a safe, caring, and supportive environment.

Children of all abilities, including children with special needs, are welcome. Parents are invited back at 5 PM for dinner and family fun.
