: Remembering Our Very First Fundraiser!

Looking back at our inaugural fundraiser, the Bow Wow Film Festival. It was an amazing afternoon. We had an absolute blast screening incredible doggie-themed shorts and seeing so many amazing pups and owners fill the seats.

We’ve grown so much since 2019, but our core mission—and our love for our four-legged community—remains exactly the same. We couldn't do any of this without you! Thank you to everyone who shared that special night with us, and to everyone who has supported us along the way.

It's that time again!!!! We are heading to North Hollywood Park on Sunday, June 14th at 12:30 p.m., and we would love for you to join us.

Our team will be on-site distributing free Carepacks to ensure our furry friends have everything they need. To make the afternoon even better, our incredible local church partners will be serving hot, delicious meals for all the pet parents in attendance.

At Comfy Carepacks, we believe that providing food and comfort to animals is a vital part of supporting the people who love them. Our mission is rooted in the idea that every pet deserves compassion and every owner deserves a helping hand.

Whether you are there for supplies, a warm meal, or just to say hello, come help us build a community centered on dignity and kindness. We cannot wait to see you there.

Tuesday Tips: Why It's Time to Ditch the Collar for a Harness

When it comes to walking your furry best friend, the gear you choose matters more than you might think. While traditional neck collars are great for holding ID tags, relying on them for walks can actually do more harm than good, especially if your dog tends to pull.

Here is why switching to a harness is one of the best decisions you can make for your dog's health and safety:

Protects the Thyroid and Windpipe: A dog's neck is full of delicate structures. Pulling on a collar puts direct pressure on their trachea, thyroid gland, and blood vessels. A harness safely distributes that pressure across the chest and shoulders.

Prevents Back and Neck Injuries: Sudden jerks on a collar can strain the spine. Harnesses offer better support and keep your dog's body aligned.

Reduces the Risk of Eye Issues: Severe neck pressure can actually increase intraocular pressure (the fluid pressure inside the eyes), which is especially dangerous for breeds prone to glaucoma.

Better Control and Security: Harnesses make it much easier to manage an excited jumper or a dog that easily slips out of a regular collar.

Meeting community members (and their furry friends) is the best part of our week!

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Teddy, a lovely poodle mix, along with his attentive Papa.

We love being a resource for the pet community, so we jumped at the chance to load Teddy up with some nutritious food and delicious treats! We also got to share some helpful tips on proper collar sizing to ensure Teddy stays safe, healthy, and comfortable on all his future adventures.

Being part of this pet community means the world to us. It is a privilege to be in a position where we can provide , , and to those in need, whether they have two legs or four!

Schnitzel, a lovely black poodle.

Brussel, a cute chihuahua who preferred the luxury of being carried by her papa.

Riley and Nico, two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel buddies who look like siblings but are just best friends who love hanging out.

The day wouldn’t have been complete without a relaxing session of dog yoga with Yoga Speaks Volume-LA. Thank you to everyone who came by and allowed us to take photos of your furbabies!!
