Happy National Dog Day to the entire Comfy Carepacks community! Today is dedicated to recognizing the endless joy, loyalty, and companionship our dogs bring into our homes every single day.

Looking for simple ways to make today extra special for your dog? Here are a few great ways to celebrate:

Surprise them with a homemade, dog-safe treat or a brand-new toy.

Take them on a fresh trail for an extended sniff-walk.

Treat them to an extra-long pampering session with plenty of attention.

End the evening relaxed on the couch together.

While today is a celebration of the dogs in our lives, it is also an important reminder of the millions of rescue animals still waiting for their forever families. If you are considering bringing a dog into your life, please choose to adopt, don't shop.

You can also make a huge impact today by making a financial donation to an animal rescue organization. Whether you choose to back Comfy Carepacks or another pet-focused charity,, your support helps fund essential carepacks, food, and shelter for dogs iin need.

How are you spoiling your fur baby today? Share your favorite photos and stories of your dog in the comments below.

At Comfy Carepacks, our mission is grounded in the belief that small acts of kindness create lasting impacts for the entire family, including our four-legged companions. We recently had the privilege of supplying pet supplies to the Glendale Community Pantry, located right behind Junior High.

Junior High is such a vital creative anchor in our area, providing an inclusive arts and community space where expression and mutual care go hand in hand. Having the pantry situated behind such a vibrant hub makes essential resources easy to access for local artists, neighbors, and families alike.

Ensuring our pets stay fed and healthy during tough times is a crucial part of holistic community support. Real change takes a collective effort, and we encourage everyone to consider donating to or volunteering with your local community organizations today to keep our neighborhoods thriving together.

Throwback Thursday: A Moment We Still Carry With Us 💙🐾

For today’s , we’re taking a look back at a special visit to Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) in 2020.

Our Comfy Carepacks team had the privilege of meeting two incredible furry friends, Kevin and Samson, alongside their devoted dog dad, Kevin! Receiving their very first carepack was a moment filled with pure excitement and wagging tails. 🐕✨

Although we are no longer in contact with them, we often hold them in our thoughts. We hope their journey has been filled with success and resilience, and that they are doing the very best they can given the circumstances.

Stories like theirs drive everything we do. We firmly believe that every pet—no matter where they are—deserves comfort, care, and compassion. We just want to do our part and make a small difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.

Here’s to Kevin, Samson, and their dad. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your story!
