We are beyond proud to announce that our very own Jenny Lind 4H Member 🍀 Aurora Kelling, has been crowned the FIRST EVER Calaveras Rodeo Princess! 👑🐴🤍

At just 9 years old, Aurora already has such a
huge heart for our western community and the rodeo way of life. From working on her family farm, showing her bunny and chickens with Jenny Lind 4-H, cheering on the Calaveras Junior RedHawks, and now beginning her journey in junior rodeo — she truly represents the hardworking, kind-hearted spirit of Calaveras County.

Aurora attends Jenny Lind Elementary School and is honored to represent the inaugural Calaveras Rodeo Princess title with dedication and grace.

We could not be more excited to watch her carry on rodeo traditions and represent our community this coming year. Thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, and believed in her throughout this journey.

Congratulations, Princess Aurora! We love you and are so proud of you! ❤️🤠✨👑

When Jenny Lind 4-H lost our beloved goat leader and friend Alexis Culhane-Reynolds, we knew we had to do something special to honor her. We chose to honor her commitment to the goat project by giving a belt buckle yearly for the Alexis Reynolds Outstanding Goat Exhibitor to be awarded at fair.
This year the award was given to Theo Witt (Alicia Schmid) for his outstanding help, commitment, sportsmanship and dedication he has had to his group and leader Becky Nunez.

Theo was also 🥇 in his Market goat class and he placed 4th in advanced showmanship.
Way to go Theo, we are so so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you do next year ❣️

This one is a little bittersweet for us as the Shrout’s start their new adventure in Tennessee soon. We are so excited for the new adventures they will get to see and do, but so sad to see them go.
We will forever cherish the time we had with Mackenzie as an officer for Jenny Lind 4-H and in our horse and beef groups 💚
