🎭 We don’t ask often—but today, we are. 🎭
As we work behind the scenes on something bigger than just a name change—our transformation from Valley Park Community Theatre into Harbor Theatrics—we’re also taking a moment to celebrate someone who made all of this possible.
Today, we’re honoring our Artistic Director & Board President, Jordan Matt-Zeitler with a birthday fundraiser… and we need your help.
Jordan has poured his heart into building this company—creating space for artists, telling meaningful stories, and pushing us toward a future that’s bigger, braver, and more inclusive.
Now we’re asking our community to show up for him the way he’s shown up for all of us.
💛 If you’ve ever:
– Seen one of our shows
– Stepped on our stage
– Believed in local theatre
– Or simply love what community art can do
Please consider donating.
Every dollar helps us continue this transition, fund future productions, and keep theatre alive and thriving in our community.

If you can’t give, sharing this post goes a long way.
Let’s show Jordan—and the future of Harbor Theatrics—just how strong this community really is.
🎭 Thank you for believing in us.

Celebrate a birthday fundraiser honoring Artistic Director and Board President Jordan Matt-Zeitler as VPCT transitions into Harbor Theatrics. Support local theatre while helping launch an exciting new chapter in St. Louis performing arts.

🎭 A Letter to Our Community

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Family of Valley Park Community Theatre,

When we launched Valley Park Community Theatre just a year ago, it was built on a simple but powerful hope—to create something meaningful within our community. In that short time, we have shared stories, built connections, and taken our first steps toward something truly special. None of it would have been possible without you—our audience, our artists, and our supporters.

As we’ve grown, we’ve also learned.

While we had hoped to see the company thrive within a smaller community, we’ve come to realize that in order to grow, sustain our work, and create the kind of impactful theatre we envision, we must expand beyond those boundaries. With that in mind, we are excited to share an important step forward.

Valley Park Community Theatre is transitioning to Harbor Theatrics.

This change reflects more than a new name—it represents a renewed vision. Harbor Theatrics allows us to reach a wider audience, expand our artistic opportunities, and continue building a space where bold, meaningful storytelling can flourish.

Like a harbor, we aim to be a place of arrival and belonging. We open our doors to all who seek shelter, connection, or a creative outlet. Whether you have been with us since the beginning or are just discovering us, we want you to know—everyone has a place here.

While our name is changing, our heart remains the same. Our commitment to quality theatre, to supporting artists, and to creating shared experiences that resonate deeply with our audiences is stronger than ever. You will continue to see familiar faces, passionate performances, and the same dedication that has defined us from the start—now with an even greater vision for what lies ahead.

We are also incredibly excited to introduce our Board of Directors, whose passion, commitment, and dedication to creating meaningful art will help guide Harbor Theatrics into this next chapter. Their leadership reflects a shared belief in the power of storytelling and a deep investment in the future of our organization.

This transition marks not an ending, but a beginning—one filled with new opportunities, new stories, and new connections. We invite you to join us as we grow, evolve, and step boldly into this new chapter.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and being part of our story.

With gratitude and excitement,
Harbor Theatrics
