CSVFD’s Fall Drive-Thru BBQ Fundraiser will begin at China Spring Tabernacle Community Center. Inside the Tabernacle is where you can find the Bake Sale hosted by the China Spring Civic Club. Burn ban in Effect. NO BURNING!!

All units are clear from a wildland fire. Thanks for the mutual aid help from Clifton, Speegleville, Crawford, Turnersville, Coreyell City/Osage Fire departments. Might have missed a department or 2. Quick response stopped an aggressive wind fueled fire from spreading into a mountain of raw cedar which would have been so much worse! Thanks for all the water and Gatorade from the public!!! Keep cool stay hydrated and be safe!!!

Tomorrow is the day the parents are celebrating!!! Please be mindful of heavy traffic for a few days at the Elementary as well as High School Campuses!! Also state law to stop when buses are loading and unloading with Red lights flashing. Let’s keep these kids safe and have a great year!!

Todays out of control. “Controlled” burn. Just because we’ve had a little rain doesn’t mean it won’t burn!!! The grass is a tender box waiting for a spark right now!!
