Every day for the past 50 years, Valley Forge Park Alliance has been a steadfast partner of Valley Forge National Historical Park—supporting it with programs, fundraising, and advocacy in ways the Park cannot do itself.

Our work would not have been possible without the direct support of donors and members like you. It is because our neighbors and friends believe in our mission that we can proudly say: look how we have served our beloved Park for the past 50 years!

We are grateful for the investment of citizen stewards, like you, who have supported this work to sustain the beauty and historic legacy of Valley Forge. We promise to serve Valley Forge Park faithfully for the next 50 years and beyond—but we cannot do it without your help.

In honor of our 50th birthday, please consider making a gift to support the Alliance's next 50 years—the Park's next 50 years—the country's next 250 years. Your partnership ensures that Valley Forge will be here for all those who come after us to embrace, celebrate, and enjoy.

Consider your Celebratory Gift:

$50 in honor of 50 Years of Stewardship
$100 in honor of Alliance's 50th & Park's 50th
$250 in honor of America's 250th
$1,776 in honor of our nation
$3,500 in honor of 3500 acres of national park

Come visit Valley Forge National Historical Park! See where the Continental Army, still largely made up of a collection of disparate colonial militias supported by hundreds of camp followers and allies, emerged under Washington’s leadership as a cohesive and disciplined fighting force.

As we look ahead to the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 50th anniversary of Valley Forge National Historical Park becoming a national park, there’s another important anniversary worth celebrating today.

On May 30, 1893, Valley Forge became Pennsylvania’s very first state park, thanks to the vision of early preservationists who recognized the importance of protecting this Revolutionary War landscape long before historic preservation was common practice.

That early commitment to preservation laid the groundwork for Valley Forge’s next chapter: its transition from Valley Forge State Park to Valley Forge National Historical Park in 1976 during the nation’s Bicentennial celebration.

More than 130 years after the park’s founding, the mission remains the same, preserving and sharing the stories of Valley Forge for future generations.
