Update as of 11:30 a.m.: The Concession Stand committee has established Wednesday 5/20 at 6:00 p.m. as the new meeting time.

‼️ With safety top of mind, the Jefferson County 4-H Council meeting that was set to take place this evening, 5/18, is rescheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. ‼️

The Concession Stand committee meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. today is cancelled, and a reschedule for that is being discussed internally. Stay tuned for an update on that front.

In the interest of being weather aware, staff is monitoring reports and consulting with a trusted team to make a decision about continuing with our 4-H Council meeting today, 5/18.

The communication plan for a reschedule is: All families receive an email through 4-H Online to the family profile address, a post appears here on our Facebook feed, and club leaders are given a message to disseminate through individual channels. Please check one or more of these avenues before heading out this evening.

Self-advocacy, giving a speech, talking with a judge β€” these are central 4-H skills that make our members Beyond Ready for life. They are not always skills that come naturally.

A personal development opportunity for Jefferson County 4-H members may be available in June, but your input is needed! Complete the linked Interest Survey to help shape a "Presentation Bootcamp" around the age range and preferences of those who would engage in this event.
