Today, your Valley Center Fire Fighters went above and beyond to help a member of the community.

Units responded to a traffic collision at Valley Center Road/Lilac Road. One occupant was on their way home with groceries, however they required transport to the hospital. E161 crew offered to drive the groceries to the patients home and deliver them to family.

While this isn’t a regular service we perform, the VCFFA is proud to deliver high quality paramedic treatment/skills, along with overall customer service.

Today your Valley Center Fire Fighters were called out for a snake removal call. The crew arrived onscene to find a large gopher snake and was able to remove it off the property.

The crew noticed that the snake had netting constricting the body and was able to remove it before releasing it. Snake removals are just one of the many different call types crew respond to for the public.

Did you know your firefighters stay busy in between 911 calls? Often times firefighters stay busy working out, training, and other station projects. As a group, firefighters are a jack of all trades and work together to solve problems.

Today your Valley Center Fire Fighters noticed an underground leak at Station 2 and worked to replace the water pipe supplying the station. Maintaining a fire station is a form of pride in the fire service that your firefighters take seriously.
