Vallejo Peace Project
The Vallejo peace project was an organization I started nine years ago its inception was July 15,2015 at the water front.
While initially it was me and some friends driving around passing out food, later connected with Guevara, it shifted to a socially conscious group focusing on diversity and inclusion and social justice.
When I started this journey I did so with transparency and the understanding i would be unable to do it alone.
While I was able to team up with many different people, it seemed only fitting that my mother would be part of it.
Though at first it was difficult for her to understand why partnering with the PD was something I was staunchly against, over time she gained a deeper understanding to why that would be an issue.
I had a lot of innovative ideas for events and n infrastructure that I regularly would bring to her and ask for help. Each time I was told she’d be able to help but only if I showed her how to use G Suites. Each time I tried it was “not a good time”
Given my experience over the past year, Which included being homeless, being stalked, sexual abuse topped off by my mother telling people I was on crack, while she paid my bills and I stole money from her.
All factually untrue, it seemed odd to me that this group continue on with daily posts of positivity while she lived a life that was quite literally in direct opposition.
I have decided to end this group as I am no longer in Vallejo and I’m also not in the mental state to run it. I truly appreciate everyone’s support of this endeavor and apologize that it didn’t get to fulfill its purpose and hope that everyone can appreciate the time it was here.
