Day by day we are called to be light for our patients and colleagues, especially when they need reassurance that the light of morning is coming. We are called to shine light as Jesus did: to see clearly, act courageously, and love compassionately.

“You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” — Psalm 18:28 NIV

At Adventist Health, we foster a culture of openness and empathy. If you know someone who may be struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts, reach out, offer hope, listen without judgment, and help connect them with support.

If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts yourself, please ask for help. We understand that reaching out may feel difficult, but you matter deeply, and your life is worth living.

If you do not know who to reach out to, call or text 988 to connect with a counselor at the National Su***de and Crisis Lifeline. Conversations are free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Today, we transition to a new electronic health record and online health portal, and we’re grateful for your support. This milestone is an exciting leap forward in our ability to provide healthcare that’s designed for the life you live.

While we work to fully adopt this new system, we know there may be some elements in how we take care of you that may take a little longer or be different from what you’re used to. We’re working quickly but thoughtfully through this transition to make sure that while we’re paying attention to the charts and graphs and numbers, we’re also continuing to take great care of you and our communities.

Thank you for your patience with our teams, and please reach out to us by direct message if you have any concerns or questions.
