On Tuesday, Natalie Uruk was driving her Kia Sedona northbound on US-101, just south of Turnpike, when her engine light illuminated and the vehicle began to experience mechanical issues. Feeling unsafe, she pulled onto the right shoulder and waited for a tow truck.

Natalie shared that she was extremely scared in the moment but within just a minute or two, Officers Parto and Buenrostro arrived on scene. They stayed with her until her private roadside assistance arrived, ensuring she felt safe and supported throughout the incident.

Natalie was so appreciative of the interaction that she later came to the office in person to express her gratitude.

Moments like these truly matter. It means a lot when members of the public take the time to let us know how much a positive interaction with our officers impacted them.

A timeless Robin Williams quote is touching hearts again for its honest reflection on loneliness and human connection 💔✨

“I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up alone. It’s not. The worst thing is to end up with people who make you feel alone,” Williams once said, and the words continue to resonate deeply with people across generations.

The quote speaks to a quiet truth many experience but struggle to put into words. It highlights that loneliness is not always about being by yourself, but about feeling unseen, unheard, or disconnected even when surrounded by others. For many, it captures the emotional weight of relationships that lack understanding or care.

Fans have widely praised the quote for its vulnerability and emotional clarity, noting how it reflects Williams’ unique ability to blend humor, empathy, and deep insight into the human experience. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of meaningful connection and choosing relationships that nurture rather than diminish.

Years later, the message remains just as powerful, offering comfort, validation, and a gentle reminder that true companionship should never make you feel alone.
