🏀 We’re looking for volunteers!

Vallejo Late Night Basketball is getting ready for the 2026 summer season, and we’re inviting community members, parents, mentors, coaches, students, partners, and trusted adults to help us create a safe, welcoming, and positive space for Vallejo youth.

Volunteers help with check-in, setup, food support, youth engagement, monitoring, cleanup, and more. Whether you can support one night or multiple Fridays, your presence matters.

Help Shape the Future of Youth Recreation in Vallejo

The City of Vallejo and Greater Vallejo Recreation District (GVRD) are working together to expand recreation opportunities for youth and teens through Measure P funding. This funding is focused on improving community safety, increasing youth engagement, and providing positive activities throughout the summer.

We want to hear from Vallejo youth, teens, families, and community members. Your feedback will help guide future programs, events, and investments that support safe, fun, and meaningful recreation opportunities for Vallejo’s young people.

Vallejo Late Night Basketball is still seeking presenting sponsors for several of our 2026 themed program nights.

Each Friday night this summer will focus on a different theme centered around youth wellness, leadership, opportunity, healing, creativity, and community connection. These nights are designed to bring together organizations, resources, activities, workshops, and meaningful engagement for Vallejo youth and families.

We’re currently looking for presenting sponsors for:
• Civic Engagement Night
• College & Career Readiness Night
• Financial Literacy Night
• Arts & Culture Night

Presenting sponsors receive:
• Exclusive sponsor recognition for the night
• Logo placement on promotional materials
• Social media and website recognition
• On-site visibility and tabling opportunities

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for Vallejo Late Night Basketball Summer 2026!

We’re a little over a month away from Opening Night, and we can’t wait to bring the community back together for another FREE summer of basketball, mentorship, resources, and connection.

Youth ages 12–25 can now register to participate.

Even if you’re not playing, we still want to see the community show up on Friday nights. There are many ways to get involved, support, volunteer, and be part of the experience.
