Midnight Flyer is a Northern California–based Eagles tribute delivering a harmony-forward, high-energy concert set that captures the sound, feel, and musicianship fans expect. Since 2015, the band has built a strong regional following with consistently sold out shows and a polished, stage-ready production. The set blends essential hits—“Hotel California,” “Take It Easy,” and “Life in the Fast Lane”—with deeper cuts and Joe Walsh favorites like “Rocky Mountain Way” and “Funk #49.”Fronted by Matt Owens and backed by top-tier Bay Area players like AJ Leighton and Adam Schuman, Midnight Flyer is always a great party!

Food: Lasagna con Amore - Chef Massimo from Italy and wife Sonia, will be serving sumptuous Lasagna Bolognese and tantalizing Lasagna Pesto, along with Italian Meatballs in marinara sauce, caprese salad, and authentic Italian desserts.

Misc: Gate opens at noon. Minors welcome, kids 12 and under are free. Well mannered and well managed puppy dogs are welcome in the outside venue area. We will have seating for everyone. Your own comfy folding chairs are welcome. *You may bring your own water and "light snacks."

Seven years ago today, we opened the doors to this little shop, and what a wild ride it has been.

Please join us on Saturday for a little celebration! We’ll have cake! We’ll have a raffle and you can win gift certificates for local indie businesses! We’ll have a book drive for ! We’ll have fun!

But mostly, just come by so we can say thank you for keeping us here these 7 years. We feel very lucky indeed.

At one point the Battleship USS Iowa was supposed to be at Mare Island. I’m confident the USS Hornet could be a nice and successful addition to Mare Island and a much needed win for Vallejo. Let’s call this wishful thinking and a little manifesting…

Financial setbacks at the USS Hornet and strict city safety regulations are forcing the nonprofit museum to consider relocating to another port.
