Request for Speakers -- Vigil Honoring Victims of Anti-Asian Violence

Hello! Our community group, Engage Fremont, is holding a vigil to honor the victims in Atlanta and those suffering from Anti-Asian racism everywhere. We are hoping to bring together the diverse peoples of Fremont, California, with speakers that can highlight the need for equity, awareness and intersectional community support. We would like to center Asian women to speak about the need to combat misogyny and racism, but we are also looking for women that can address Spanish speaking members of our community.

We would love to highlight a speaker from your organization willing to speak at this event. The event is this Sunday, March 28, 2021, at Lake Elizabeth in Fremont. If this would be at all possible, I would be happy to send more information, including a speaker guide. You can reach out to me either at this email or by text at 510.209.2444.
