Yesterday, we were grateful to welcome Christal Young from FOX 5’s Good Day New York to Ronald McDonald House Westchester. ❤️

During her visit, she spoke with our CEO, Colleen Borrelli, about how spaces like our Family Room are thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, connection and a sense of home for families while keeping them close to their children during incredibly difficult times.

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

Meet Gloria and her daughter, Stephanie. ❤️

They traveled from Honduras through Gift of Life so Stephanie could receive critical care for a congenital heart condition.

Over the next five months, Stephanie spent time in both the NICU and PICU, while Gloria stayed close through our Day Program and in-House stays.

After 106 days with us, Stephanie was finally cleared to return home to Honduras.

During NICU Awareness Month and Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re honored to share their journey and recognize the strength of families who travel far from home for their child’s care.

Once a Ronald McDonald House Family, always a Ronald McDonald House Family. ❤️

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
