Cool story from our area tournament last weekend. Big thanks to the few around the area who take the butt chewings and travel long miles so our guys can play baseball. We need more umpires and we’re glad to see this young woman getting involved!

We're back at Modisett Park tonight for day 4 of the 2026 Class C Area 7 Senior District Tournament as the Imperial Legion Pinnacle Bank Horns and Valentine American Legion Post 90 Baseball meet for the 2nd time. Winner advances to the Championship against PWG Legion Baseball loser goes home. Game will be streamed live and free on Stormy Sports Net and the free Stormy Sports apps. Dropped one today to PWG 4-0. Will have to battle back starting tomorrow at 6 central. We will play the winner of Sheridan County and Imperial for a trip to the final.

Winner in game 1! 15-7 win over Imperial to kick off the area tournament. We will have tomorrow off and play the winner of Sheridan County and PWG on Sunday.

The bracket for this weekend! All times on the bracket are mountain time and all games will be played in Rushville.

Still waiting for the official brackets from the state, but looks like we will play Imperial at 8:00 PM CST in Rushville on Friday night to start off the C7 Area Tournament this weekend. Sheridan County, PWG, and Bridgeport are the other teams in the bracket. We will post the bracket with all start times here when the legion gets them posted. Go Post 90!

The Andy Hoban Memorial Tournament has been moved from this Saturday to this Sunday, July 19.

10:30 AM-Valentine vs Chadron
1:00 PM-Chadron vs Cambridge/Arapahoe
4:00 PM-Valentine vs Cambridge/Arapahoe

Final home games of the year! Come check out the seniors for the last time before they head to Rushville for the C7 Area Tournament the following weekend.
