As summer approaches, we’re reminded how healing it can be to spend time outdoors to relax and recharge. Hope’s Road would love to hear about your favorite Pittsburgh area outdoor spaces, playgrounds, or nature trails! Leave a comment with your favorite park to share these special places with our Hope’s Road Facebook community.

Hope’s Road Bereavement Coordinator, Marcia, recently interviewed Barbara Karnes. Many who support grieving individuals, as well as grieving individuals themselves, may know Barbara’s comforting grief booklets, Gone from My Sight and My Friend, I Care. Watch the interview for encouragement and helpful guidance for both grievers and those supporting them.

Our team offers resource materials and support for caregivers of bereaved children and grieving families. Visit our website to sign up for these resources: www.hopesroad.org

Happy Memorial Day! We remember the brave individuals of the Armed Services who fought for our country and gave their lives for our freedom. We are very grateful for their courage and dedication.

Hope’s Road offers prayers for peace and comfort for families grieving the loss of someone who died while serving our country. May God continue to bless our country.
