1.

The BFF strives to make a positive impact on our community by creating a bridge between those in need and the resources that drive positive change. Providing life changing resources for our community’s youth through various BFF programs, grants, and scholarship opportunities.

2. Providing immediate resources for those who have been affected by a crisis or hardship situation beyond their control.

We aim to help and support those individuals and act as a BFF (BEST FRIEND) to those in need. Guided by the respect and empathy we hold for the people we serve, we pursue this mission with compassion, transparency and generosity.

What an incredible pleasure to see this amazing woman at the Finally Family Homes Resource Center ribbon cutting. BFF had the joy of collaborating with Azar from DCSF in Santa Clarita — an incredible advocate for local youth. Together, we supported a local SCV high school student who was facing major challenges both personally and academically.
When Azar discovered that this young man didn’t have access to the technology he needed for his studies, she reached out to BFF for help. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to provide him with a brand-new laptop!
The impact was immediate — his confidence grew, his grades improved, and he’s now back on track toward his goals. Stories like this remind us just how powerful community support can be. Thank you all for your support its because of YOU that a direct impact was made!!🙌

On the heals of 🇺🇸 Memorial Day, I met a homeless Veteran 🇺🇸 with terminal cancer who reached out to the Baker Family Foundation for help with basic essentials like food and socks. Meeting him in the parking lot behind the Castaic Inn, where he lives, I was greeted with warm smiles, kind eyes, and profound gratitude. The Foundation provided the assistance he asked for, and I’m hopeful that the information I received from the SCV Veterans Collaborative can connect him with long-term support. The encounter left me deeply moved, literally bringing me to tears 😢 . Despite facing a grim and frightening battle, this Veteran’s spirit was remarkable. No Veteran should face cancer alone—they deserve better. I promised to check on him regularly and urged him to reach out if he needs anything. Today was a humbling reminder of how blessed 🙏 we are and to never take life or anything for granted, as life’s challenges can strike unexpectedly. The hug from him will stay with me! I am so grateful for our supporters and donors giving us the ability to help this deserving Veteran.

Thank you to those that served for US. Freedom is not free! Today and every day we honor and appreciate you! 🇺🇸🫶🏻🇺🇸

The MIDAS program the we sponsored was a HUGE hit at Bowman High School! Was a school year long program and the students were incredible! The first term 76 students met all the criteria and qualified for incentives and the last term 138 qualified! What a difference a year makes👏👏👏!! There were 56 students who met the criteria every term which is amazing💪!! Thank you so much to the Staff at Bowman and the Hart District for all you do!! This was collaboration at its finest!!!! Chef Otto spoke and presented to Students who met the criteria all year about his journey and the COC Culinary program🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳! There were students who expressed interest and one specifically will be joining the program and BFF will provide support so she can get the tools / supplies she needs to start off strong!!!! Such a great program for the Kids at Bowman!!! 🙌🎓🎉
