LELA's House, Inc. This organization was founded by Jacque Wright and MoTocsha Solomon Brown. To honor her legacy, Lela's House was established and the work continues.

The two, daughter and granddaughter of Lela Solomon, grew up watching her give selflessly to those in need. When Lela passed away, Tocsha and Jackie decided to start an organization to carry on her work.

At Lela’s House, Inc., our mission has always been to serve those in need with dignity, compassion, and respect.

In the past few weeks, we have been blessed to assist many more families with food, toiletries, and other essential items. You may not see many photos or posts highlighting these efforts, and that is intentional.

We believe in protecting the privacy of those we serve and never want to make light of someone’s difficult circumstances. We also don’t do this work for recognition or applause—we do it because helping others is at the heart of who we are.

As the need continues to grow, we are asking for your support. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help us continue providing food, hygiene products, and essential resources to families facing hardship in our community.
