Living Bridges Ministry

Our cup runneth over! What a blessing today was for Living Bridges Ministry. We were selected as the Hometown Heros Project by Lowe's Home Improvement! Both the store and the regional distribution center combined with more than 50 volunteers at both of our locations. The first vehicles arrived at 7am and some volunteers were at our center until 3:30pm.They painted our porches, repaired part of our porch at the building, landscaped our greenhouse, sorted clothes, sorted blankets for Christmas, mowed our yard and more. 🤩 They helped move donations around and consolidated items at the warehouse. What an amazing day! We are thankful. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙌🏼🙌🏼

We are so thankful for the Moms Who Pray homeschool group and the time they spent serving at our warehouse on Friday! 💚 It was such a blessing to have them here, and we truly appreciate how willing everyone was to jump in and help wherever needed.

🌱 They made seed and pot packs for our upcoming Fall Trunk or Treat.

🍽️ The older kids wrapped 300 napkin and plasticware bundles for our Annual Donor Dinner.

📦 They also marked out UPC codes on hundreds of packages of napkins, plates, and table covers so our next volunteer group can bundle them on Thursday.

That is a lot of work, and they accomplished so much! We know it takes time and effort to bring a group out to serve, and we don't take that for granted. Thank you for sharing your time, your energy, and your hearts with us. We are so grateful for each of you and the difference you are making through these simple but important acts of service. Thank you for ALL your hard work! 💚

Would your family, homeschool group, church, or organization like to serve with us? There are so many ways to make a difference, and we'd love to find a project that's a good fit for your group. Reach out to us to learn more about upcoming volunteer opportunities! 💚

We love the Valdosta Police Department! They have helped serve in our relief lines, have read at summer reading, have answered numerous calls at our building when people have vandalized or stolen from us, have conducted food drives for us and are just an all around great support for us. That is why we are heartbroken for them during this time of loss. Please lift the department, the officer's family, and all who are affected up in your prayers in the coming days and weeks. 😭💔💙🙏🏽

The Valdosta Fire Department extends our heartfelt prayers and support to our brothers and sisters in blue during this difficult time. May God provide strength, peace, and comfort to all those affected, including fellow officers, colleagues, family members, and loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
