Here are 3 ways to reflect Christ today:

🤝 Encourage the teammate who feels overlooked.
🫶 Serve others without expecting anything in return.
❤️ Choose kindness, even when it's difficult.

Jesus didn't just love the people who were easy to love—He loved everyone. He noticed the overlooked, served the outcast, and showed compassion to those others ignored. As His followers, we're called to do the same.

Pause and ask yourself: Who can I intentionally love like Jesus today?

Every coach and athlete has something they rely on—training, teammates, coaches or preparation. But if we want to honor Christ in everything we do, our greatest source of strength must be God's Word.

The Bible gives us wisdom when we need direction, peace when we face pressure and hope when life feels uncertain. It's more than a resource—it's our foundation.

Whatever you're facing today, let God's Word be the place you turn first.

Not every team, locker room or season will be easy. Sometimes it can feel like your encouragement goes unnoticed, your kindness isn't returned or your efforts to make a difference aren't producing results.

God calls us to faithfully sow seeds of love, encouragement and Christlike character wherever He has placed us. We may not always see the harvest right away, but that's okay. Our responsibility is to plant the seeds—God is responsible for the growth.

Whether you're encouraging a teammate, serving your coach or showing kindness to an opponent, don't grow weary in doing good. The fruit may come in a way or season you never expected.

“When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” — Psalm 56:3-4 (CSB)

Every coach and athlete faces fear. It may be the fear of failure, the pressure to perform or uncertainty about what's ahead. No matter what you're facing, fear doesn't have to have the final say.

David knew what it was like to be afraid, yet he chose to trust God instead of letting fear define him. He rested in God's promises, trusted His plan and found peace knowing the Lord was in control.

When fear shows up, choose faith. God's Word is true, His promises never fail and He is with you through every challenge.

As the World Cup comes to a close, we're reminded of the incredible opportunities, unforgettable moments and lasting memories this tournament has created for coaches, athletes and fans around the world.

But beyond every trophy and celebration, God has given us blessings that last forever.

Psalm 103 reminds us not to forget His benefits—His forgiveness, His mercy, His healing, His love and the eternal hope we have through Jesus. These are gifts we could never earn, yet He freely gives them because of His great love for us.

No matter what season you're in, take a moment today to thank God for His faithfulness and remember the greatest victory is found in Him.

Every coach and athlete has something they rely on—training, teammates, coaches or preparation. But if we want to honor Christ in everything we do, our greatest source of strength must be God's Word.
