Congratulations on your phenomenal achievement of winning three gold medals in a single Olympic Games!
With your victories in the 200 meters, the 4 × 100 meters relay, and the 4 × 400 meters relay, you’ve joined an elite group of athletes who have achieved the remarkable feat of winning three gold medals in one Olympic Games. You now stand proudly alongside track and field legends such as Wilma Rudolph (1960), Valerie Brisco-Hooks (1984), Florence Griffith-Joyner (1988), and Allyson Felix (2012).
As a Black woman, you’ve spoken passionately about the importance of Representation and how vital it is for young Black girls to see themselves in your success.
