We are teaming up with Magnolia House - Waycross Area Shelter for Abused Persons, Inc. for our Day of Service in Brantley County THIS FRIDAY!

If you haven't signed up yet and would like to give back to your community, there's still time! We are still looking for volunteers to help us make a difference in Brantley County as we organize and move supplies into the new 10,000-square-foot recovery building.

We've also had a few people ask if the event will still happen if it rains, and the answer is YES! ☔️ We will be working inside the building, so weather will not impact our plans.

If you'd like to volunteer, sign up today! We would love to have as many helping hands as possible. If you have any questions, please reach out to us or Magnolia House - Waycross Area Shelter for Abused Persons, Inc.

Community and connection were on full display this past Saturday as we joined the Love One Foundation’s largest Youth Football & Cheer Clinic to date!

More than 350 youth and family members gathered for a day focused on athletics, leadership, wellness, and community engagement. Participants had the opportunity to learn from positive role models, connect with local organizations, and engage in important conversations about mental health and overall well-being.

We were honored to stand alongside incredible community partners, including the Valdosta State University football team, Legacy Behavioral Health, the American Diabetes Association, Moody Air Force Base, and many others who helped make this event such a success.

Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more connected South Georgia. 💙

Last week, our CEO, Michael Smith, had the opportunity to visit Glynn County and connect with the team at the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation (CCGF). During his visit, he learned more about the incredible work being done by local nonprofits and explored opportunities for collaboration. We’re excited to continue building relationships, sharing ideas, and discovering new ways to strengthen communities together.

Last Friday, Greater Valdosta United Way President & CEO Michael Smith hit the road to visit five incredible organizations serving our region, bringing gifts and a genuine commitment to building relationships.

Alongside CCGF and the St. Marys Methodist Church Foundation, the group toured:
- Hand in Hand
- Golden Isles Veterans Village (GIVV)
- Safe Harbor’s Village on Ellis
- Salvation Army Red Shield Shelter
- Saved by Grace

But the biggest impact? Showing up, listening, and connecting with the people doing this vital work every day.

We’re excited about what this growing partnership means for Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties!
