Students Against Violating the Environment

Students Against Violating the Environment This group serves as a forum for education, as well as a medium from which our collective voices can be used effectively to insight social change. Questions?

This space is dedicated to those interested in teaching and learning more about the Environmental Issues that affect us on regional, national, and international levels. We exist as an autonomous organization, yet work hand in hand with national environmental organizations making progress in today's most important issues. Members of this group recognize that Environmental devastation is, fundamenta

lly, a Humanitarian issue. Inherent in our paradigm is the fundamental wisdom that each engaged individual is in no way removed or displaced from his or her ecological sourroundings. Thus, the best way for us to insight social change...we believe...is to foster it within our hearts, and exemplify it in our personal actions. We understand, most importantly, that change REQUIRES love and respect for those who think in a different way. It is only then when the meanings of our cause can become truly powerful. This group is for ANYONE who values, or will value, the quality of life we will leave for our children and generations far ahead. Comments? Concerns? Suggestions?
