Good morning Facebook, family, and friends. The City of Valdosta Public Works Department is currently facing issues due to four essential Claw trucks being out of service because of mechanical failures. These trucks are vital for waste management and street maintenance. The department is aware of the disruptions caused and is working to fix the trucks quickly.

Public Works Administrator Larry Ogden has stated the department’s commitment to resolving these problems swiftly. The team is making all efforts to speed up the repairs and asks for the community’s patience during this time. Thank you.

Part of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore collapsed early Tuesday morning after a ship crashed into it, sending people into the water in what authorities are calling a "developing mass casualty event."
