We are excited to officially welcome Valdosta Middle School as the second school participating in the Moore Impact Program!🫶

Bringing the program back to Kenny’s hometown has always been a major goal of ours, and we can’t wait to continue fostering growth, leadership and all of the other life skills that are so important for young people to have in order to succeed. This is what it’s all about!!

Today marks the first day of Mental Illness Awareness Week.

Facing any sort of mental illness can be challenging, overwhelming, and scary. Sometimes, it feels easier to ignore or internalize problems rather than accept that you might need help. But if you are able to take the first step towards recovery — talking to a doctor, opening up to friends, deciding to love yourself no matter what — you immediately put yourself on a better path forward.

This month, we’re encouraging those who’ve taken those big first steps to share their stories in the hopes of inspiring others to do the same. Visit the link in our bio to share yours!💚

Last week, we were able to visit the pediatric cancer research lab Riley Children’s Hospital to learn more about their work — specifically, how they are using tumor tissue models from Mason Garvey (Mighty Mason Foundation) and Tyler Trent (Kelly Crull Trent) to further their work and help treat more patients. We got to tour the lab, look at those tissue models, and meet the amazing people who have dedicated their lives to healing others.

It was both an emotional and educational visit, and a reminder of the importance of the work everyone at Riley is doing every day.đź’›
