After a nail-biting candidates race, we are proud to announce the 2026-2027 Valdosta High School FFA Officer Team!!! These student have worked hard for the success of their FFA chapter and we are excited to see where 2026-2027 takes us!

Mrs Wayne’s floral design class has been busy the last couple of weeks!

They have discussed sympathy arrangements and made mini casket sprays.

Looked at wedding florals and designed an arbor arrangement, boutonnières and bouquets.

Created center piece for the CATS Awards.

The Valdosta High School FFA chapter hosted students from the special education department today for a “make and take” bud vase class!

Students received hands on instruction on how to create their very own bud vases that they were then able to take home with them!

Thank you to our wonderful FFA members who worked so well with each and every student that came through our doors and thanks to the VHS special education department for working with Mrs. Wayne in planning this wonderful class!

The VHS FFA chapter had a wonderful time at the 98th Georgia state FFA convention and expo in Macon Georgia last week!

Students in attendance were able to tour Yancey Brothers retail and service equipment, speak with many different career and educational opportunities at the expo hall, and votes on the 26-27 Georgia FFA state officer team.

 The chapter was recognized at the state convention for the following student accomplishments:

State degree recipients: Addison Wallace and Adrienne Robinson Sullivan

EMC electrical wiring: Jeremiah Lopez

Washington leadership conference scholarship recipient: Violet Bolme

Outdoor recreation, proficiency award: Addison Wallace, placing 1st and advancing to nationals in October in Indianapolis, Indiana!

Service learning, proficiency award: Adri Robinson Sullivan placing 2nd in Georgia!

Good morning everyone! Georgia State FFA Convention is next week in Macon!

We are looking forward to taking these students to celebrate all the accomplishments that not only VHS FFA members have made but also FFA members across the state!

If you are interested in sponsoring a student to help the financial burden, spots to attend are $130 and students will need roughly an additional $100 to eat. Any amount that you can donate will help a Valdosta High FFA member tremendously.

If you are able to sponsor a student (any amount) for this opportunity, please send an email to [email protected] and Mr. Wayne will give you a call!
