We are searching for an adoptive family for a newborn baby boy born with schizencephaly and polymicrogyria. He needs a family prepared to meet his lifelong needs and help him reach his fullest potential. This is a private, domestic adoption so interested families will need to have an up to date homestudy. We are receiving requests for approved families almost every day, including five cases we are currently working to match. Each medically complex adoptive family is open to different circumstances, so we need a robust registry to make sure every child and family find each other! There is no cost to join our registry!

It is my pleasure to announce that ACF Adoptions is launching a nationwide medically complex/special needs adoption program. The new program, ACF+, is focused on finding safe, healthy and nurturing homes for children who are medically complex and/or have special needs. The (+) reflects the extra care we recognize medically complex families need to help their children thrive. We have hired Jennifer Kelly MS as our Program Coordinator. Jennifer’s previous agency experience and expertise in subsidy and medically complex adoptions make her a wonderful addition to our team.
