Please be aware that the weather this weekend is forecasted to possibly be one of the coldest tempatures in recorded history. We have decided to close our camps due to the extreme possible temperatures with the combination of high winds. We caution that camping in weather this extreme could bring on hypothermia and frostbite. Heating devices in tents like propane heaters and space heaters are prohibited, due to carbon monoxide poising and fire hazards. If you plan on camping in winter weather please make sure that all participants are fully prepared for the cold temperatures. Sleeping bags that aren't properly stored will not hold their original temperature ratings and could result in hypothermia. Please be safe this weekend.
