Old Colony Players is excited to officially announce the launch of our Amphitheatre Restoration Campaign!

Our goal is to raise $500,000 to restore and improve our amphitheatre so that it can continue serving our community for generations to come. There is no better time than now to begin this journey. We are launching this campaign with the hope of celebrating the completion of this restoration alongside the 60th anniversary of From This Day Forward next summer. For six decades, this beloved production has helped tell the story of Valdese and its Waldensian heritage, bringing generations of families, performers, and audiences together at the amphitheatre.

This campaign is about more than restoring a stage and buildings. It’s about preserving a place where history is shared, memories are made, and the community comes together through the arts.

We need YOUR help to make it happen. Whether you’re able to give $10, $100, $1,000, or more, every donation brings us one step closer to our goal.

I know it’s hard to compete with The Odyssey and the live action Hadestown hitting theaters this weekend. However, we would also like you to consider supporting local live theater. (We also won’t cost you an arm, leg, and first born 🤪)

Bring your family invite your friends and come make some memories with us! We can’t wait to see you at the theater!

What a great second weekend of From This Day Forward! 💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, laughed, cheered, and supported the show and local actors. Seeing the amphitheater filled with friends, families, and first-time visitors makes all the hard work worth it.

If you haven’t made it yet—or you’re ready to see it again—we’ve got more performances next weekend! Come spend an evening with us. We can’t wait to see you there! 🎭✨
