Help bing Millie & Zion home!

The Pony Duo -they are still waiting... we are still waiting!

In June we "rolled the dice" on two horses from a kill pen, well, not really but it's just more of a risk than some other options. It's a new endeavor, but we believe they will be good fits for different reasons, click on their pictures for more! We've been waiting to say much...hoping more to make a "Yay" announcement but time is rolling and these two equine friends are still off-site for medical reasons. Would you please join us in prayer for their healing and overall well being. We are currently working on the next part of our game plan to bring them home.

We would love to have them here so we can provide the daily care each could really benefit from.

Also, if you are able to help carry their extra care costs it would help! I'm estimating between $1500 - $2000 for their additional cares and vet expenses by the time we are able to shift them to Crossfire. It's not a huge amount, but more than expected. Together we can bring them to their new purpose and to be loved on like nobody's business!

These two ROCKED this blind walk! Their communication, patience, and kindness were simply on point!

We never know when God is going to use something that seems ordinary for bigger things. It’s part of the mystery and joy He brings.

As we transition into the school year, we can’t help but look back and recap all that summer has brought. Yes, there were camps and sessions, but it was so much more than a calendar full of activities.

Kids were encouraged. They did things they didn’t think they could do. They played, laughed, explored, and made new connections. Some made the choice to follow Jesus. Others took steps toward growing into who God created them to be. Some simply needed a place to breathe, find refuge from the challenges life brings, and experience hope.

There was healing. There was confidence gained. There were nature hikes, horse care, new skills learned, hard conversations, quiet moments, growth in faith, and plenty of dirt, sweat, laughter, and horse hair!

And woven through it all were opportunities to remind kids that they are seen, valued, capable, and deeply loved. Reminding each that they have been created on purpose, for purpose by God, who loves them beyond measure.

That’s really why we do what we do.

The horses may be part of what brings them through the gate, but the greater hope is that they leave knowing they don’t have to walk through life alone. We are grateful for every volunteer, mentor, donor, parent, and friend who helped make that possible this summer.

As another school year begins, we’re looking ahead with anticipation. Sessions will continue, and with them come the everyday expenses of caring for the horses, maintaining the Ranch, providing supplies, and creating a safe place for kids to learn, grow, and heal.

Would you consider partnering with us?

You can partner through prayer—praying for the kids who walk through our gates, for our mentors and staff, and for God’s continued direction and provision.

You can also partner financially. Every gift helps cover the cost of providing these sessions and makes it possible for us to continue offering opportunities to kids who may not otherwise have access to them.

Whether you give, pray, volunteer, or simply share the mission of Crossfire Ranch with someone else, you are part of the story.

Offering Hope. Changing Lives.

We’re grateful to be on this journey together and excited to see what God will do next.

It's just sweet to see how the relationship is the primary first goal. We can push through, tell others to push through and all the things, but without partnership and trust gained there are so many things that just get shortcut and will eventually show up, most likely in some sideways way.

Today is National Dog Day! In honor of this fun holiday - we're excited to introduce you to our one and only ranch doggo!

Hi, my name is Scout! I am roughly 3 years old, but that is debatable because I was a rescue. I was found wandering the streets in Texas before making my way to Saving Paws Animal Rescue in Appleton, where my new humans came and adopted me! How is the ranch life you may ask? It is so fun! My day starts with some extra bouncing around, super cool spin moves and lots of face smooshes in the grass, because man, the smells are great! I have at least five face smooshes before making my way to help with chore time, where I have the very important job of keeping the cats entertained while everyone else does the actual work. Some of my favorite things are lots of snuggles with my mom, zoomies around the yard, and greeting the Crossfire kids and staff! You might find me to be a little shy at first, because strangers are still a little scary, but I am getting better and better (at least that's what my mom tells me!). See ya around the ranch!

We want to give a BIG WAHOOOOO(!) to Phil's Pumping & Fabrication. We were on the hunt for the last few tires we needed. One of Crossfire's staff members stopped by Phil's and he was amazing! He stopped what he was doing, checked on tires and found just what we needed. We're so grateful he took the time to help us that day. THANK YOU!

Our final week of summer camp is well under way. Lots of good shenanigans, friendships and learning how we have a firm foundation in Jesus and of course all the horse activities. What a great week it's been so far!! A few sneak peak pictures into the week.
