The Northern Columbia Lions Club
has proudly served the area encompassed within
the Ichabod Crane School District with distinction
since 1947, providing such services as:

Glasses and hearing aids to those in need;
Assisting individuals and families in need;
Adopting families at holiday times;
Assisting children within the school district;
Assisting the rescue squad;
Assisting various youth activi

ties;
Providing scholarships; and
a variety of services within the community such as pre-school vision screening (LIONS SEE).

ATTENTION:

To all Ichabod Crane High School student who need to fulfill community service requirements, or any past Lions Club Scholarship recipients, who would like to help, the Northern Columbia Lions Club will be participating at the Kinderhook Craft Fair on May 30, 2026. The club could use your help setting up at 8am in the Kinderhook Square, or anyone can come around 9:30am to help serve food. The Northern Columbia Lions Club is holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Callan Park in Valatie on April 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM for children through grade 6. An Easter Basket will be raffle on the day of the hunt. Proceeds benefit sight projects such as screening pre-school children for eye issues. Hope to see all the children there on Saturday April 4th.

Our River Street and Paul Raihofer Senior Housing Village Christmas Gift Project went every well. Thank you to Lion Donna Francis and Lion Bonnie Townsend for spearheading this project. Lion Frank McKinney, Lion Cathy Tripple, Lion Chuck Albertson, Lion Donna Francis, and Lion Bonnie Townsend wrapped 70 packages for delivery.
