Sensory bags have recently come to local emergency departments to help kids feel calmer during emergencies. They include a weighted blanket, noise cancelling headphones, a set of fidget toys, sunglasses, and a non-verbal cue card.

Meet the Rotary club that's doing things a little differently 🌱

Global ROOTS wanted a fresh, flexible, action-focused club. So, they built their own. Made up of passionate young professionals, they bring energy, creativity, and a drive to make a difference. ROOTS = Resilience, Outreach, Opportunity, Tradition, Sustainability. More than half are new to Rotary, and a quarter also belong to Rotaract, bringing fresh ideas and global connections to every project.

Looking forward to working on raising some funds with this dedicated group of volunteers tomorrow (18th)

Friday’s CFET volunteer-members after trimming weeds along the southern end of the Albany Hudson Electric Trail from behind Walmart to Jiffy L**e in Greenport. Thanks, guys for the great work!

Note: Sadly, there is a littering problem along this stretch of the trail. We picked up many, many empty beer cans, plastic cups/lids, and other trash discarded along the wooded edge of the trail.
