Among this year’s experiences is an exclusive culinary evening at Tavernetta Vail, where Executive Chef Ethan Diamant welcomes acclaimed guest Chef Vinnie Cimino of Cleveland’s celebrated restaurant Cordelia for a one‑night‑only dining experience. This intimate multi‑course dinner will highlight the shared passions and distinct styles of both chefs, Chef Ethan’s refined, ingredient‑driven Alpine Italian approach paired with Chef Vinnie’s bold, soulful Midwestern creativity. Meet Chef Steve Ingber, Executive Chef & Founder of Mile High Cook, joining us at Taste of Vail’s Buckhead Meat Après Street Tasting & Chef Competition on April 2 ✨

Mile High Cook was founded with a simple idea: great food should feel personal. Chef Ingber brings a chef-driven, highly customized approach to private dining and events across Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and Wyoming, offering everything from intimate private chef experiences and meal prep to large-scale catering, on-site bakery creations, and curated grazing and charcuterie boards. Every experience starts with a real conversation, ensuring each menu is thoughtfully built around the people it’s meant to serve, reflecting a commitment to connection, creativity, and quality that defines his work.

At this year’s Après Tasting & Chef Competition, he’ll be cooking live as the premier chef for , showcasing his signature approach in a high-energy, open-air setting where guests can taste and vote in real time.

✨Restaurant Spotlight: Glo & Capriata✨

We’re excited to welcome Glo Ramen & Sushi and Capriata to the 35th year celebration of Taste of Vail.
At Glo, expect Japanese-inspired ramen, thoughtfully crafted small plates, and a wide selection of handrolls and cut rolls. Capriata offers a new take on casual Italian fare with sourdough pizza by the slice, housemade sandwiches, and a variety of small Italian dishes.

Both concepts are led by Culinary Director Freddy Lefeber. Originally from Hannover, Germany, Freddy began working in kitchens at 15 and trained in fine dining before moving to Vail at 21. He has worked at the Sonnenalp Hotel, Larkspur, and The Sebastian Hotel, and now brings his experience and creativity to Glo and Capriata alongside owners Chris and Ariana Teigland.
