ChiLuvBug Small Dog Rescue Formerly Pammy's Second Chance Rescue We manage up to 40 small dogs from rescue to placement.

All fees associated with adoption are used in the care and management of the dogs including spay, neuter, shots, chip. Other medical needs are addressed as needed on an individual basis prior to participation in adoption events.

Butterscotch - 5 1/2 month old male Golden Retriever mix

Introducing Butterscotch, a 5.5-month-old golden retriever mix who is equal parts sugar, spice, and full-speed ahead. At 16 pounds, he’s currently in his “fun-sized” era, but don’t let the compact packaging fool you—this boy is rich, creamy, and absolutely impossible to resist.

Butterscotch is sweet and social, the kind of pup who assumes everyone he meets is a new best friend. He’s young, enthusiastic, and still polishing his gentleman skills, which means he’ll thrive with a family ready to invest in his training. Think of him as a delightful work in progress: the foundation is flawless, we just add guidance and watch him turn into gold.

He does play a little rough, but he prefers to call it “committed to the bit.” Butterscotch loves playmates who can match his energy and appreciate his all-in approach to fun. Tug of war? He’s bringing the intensity. Zoomies? He’s clocking personal bests. After the action winds down, he’s all melty sweetness again.

Butterscotch is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases. If you’re ready for a puppy who will keep life interesting, keep you laughing, and absolutely stick to your heart, Butterscotch is ready to swirl into your world.
Requirements include meeting everyone in the household, dog intros (if applicable), and a home check. Adoption applications are approved on a best-fit basis.
We do not do out-of-state adoptions.

Adoption fee $550
Includes spay/neuter, microchip and age appropriate vaccinations.

Fuddles- 4yr old male chihuahua (6lbs)

Meet Fuddles, the scruffy little heartthrob who proves that small dogs can come with supersized charm. At just 6 pounds and 4 years old, this long-haired Chihuahua is the definition of “fun-sized.” Honestly, he’s so perfectly portable that you might forget he’s a dog and start treating him like your favorite accessory. And Fuddles won’t complain—he actually loves being toted around in a sac, like the stylish sidekick he was clearly born to be.
