Convention 2026 in the books ✅
Your executive board spent the weekend at La Paloma networking, learning and celebrating 120 years of PTA!!! We had the opportunity to be apart of the opening of the year 2000’s time capsule!! We also took part in the 2026 time capsule that will be passed down and opened in 20 years! ORE will be part of the history! 🎉🥹🤗
Did you know Arizona PTA was chartered in 1906 before Arizona was even a state?!
Mrs. Emery Keyes wanted to give children a unified voice and empower families to advocate for child welfare, health, and education! It was established to bridge the gap between home and school, ensuring parents and teachers could cooperate in shaping successful futures for our youth!!
PTA is not bake sales… It is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for children! Our core principle is….Every child. One voice ❤️
Arizona PTA is a State Congress of the National PTA working collaboratively with national and local education, health, safety and child advocacy groups. We are an active all-volunteer board.
Why membership matters?

Celebrations from 2025-2026🎉 ORE took home the following awards!!! 💙💚🐾
✅Super organized award: given to local units who turned in their SOA documents in time and are in good standing.
✅100 membership club: award earned based on number of paid members! We have 173 this year we are going to the stars in 2026 for 200+!!!
✅ Community connections award: awards given to local units who have at LEAST 5 business/community members.
✅ Grandparent award: awarded to local units with at LEAST 5 paid grandparents! We are aiming for double this year!
✅ Staff award: awarded for staff memberships.
✅ Platinum highest level membership: awarded for 25% + of student enrollment vs membership 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Way to go ORE community!!! We couldn’t have achieved this without all 173 members!!! Let’s knock 2026-2027 out of the park!! 👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼🐾
