The fabulous Leida will be retiring at the end of the year, and our Thrift Store is hiring a new Assistant Manager. Who do you know who would make a great addition to our staff?

We’re Hiring: Assistant Thrift Store Manager!

Do you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and helping a busy operation run smoothly? ReSources is looking for a Full-Time, Assistant Thrift Store Manager to join our Vail Depot Thrift Store team!
This is a hands-on position supporting daily store operations, including sorting donations, merchandising, and cashiering. A big part of this role is also working directly with our amazing volunteers, providing training, guidance, and support so they can be successful in their roles.
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable with technology, a good problem-solver, comfortable lifting 30 to 50 pounds many times during a shift and, most importantly, genuinely enjoys working with people.
Every purchase at the Vail Depot Thrift Store helps support ReSources' work serving neighbors throughout the Greater Vail community. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fun, community-focused environment while making a difference!

🎉 What a day for ReSources and our community!

Yesterday we officially cut the ribbon on our new Food Bank expansion, and we were overwhelmed by the wonderful turnout of friends, volunteers, partners, and community members who came to celebrate with us. 💚

A special thank you to Dr. Denise Bowls at the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce for hosting our ribbon-cutting, and to Pima County District 4 Supervisor Steve Christy and Vail School District Superintendent John Carruth for joining us and sharing such meaningful remarks. We are grateful for your support of ReSources and the community we serve.

We were also honored to have Natalie Jayroe, CEO of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, join us. The Community Food Bank has been an invaluable partner in our work to alleviate hunger—and Natalie made an incredible announcement during today's celebration:

ReSources has been awarded a $266,660 grant to expand our Grocery Rescue program! 🎉

This investment will help us rescue more fresh, nutritious food from local grocery partners and build the capacity needed to get that food to more of our neighbors. More grocery rescue means more food and more people served!

And finally, thank YOU to everyone who came out this morning. Seeing so many people gathered together to celebrate this milestone was a powerful reminder that ReSources truly is a community effort.

We are honored, grateful, and incredibly excited about what comes next.

💚 Neighbors Helping Neighbors. That’s what the day was all about.
