Leadership Park City's annual CityTour kicked off in Vail the past two days. Our delegation includes Leadership Class 32, City and County elected officials and staff, and community members.

The Town of Vail - Government welcomed us with gracious hospitality! We started with a presentation from Vail, East West Partners, and the Town of Vail on the West Lionshead Development, followed by a special (and emotional) fireside discussion between Vail Mountain VP, COO Beth Howard, and Russell Forrest. They shared stories about their relationship and how it helped power productive collaboration between the town and the resort.

We are so grateful for Vail's generosity of time and spirit! Stay tuned for more updates on CityTour 2026…

An annual tradition for each Leadership Park City class, members of Class 31 made a visit to the Salt Lake City Government building and the Utah State Capitol earlier this week with Mayor Nann Worel and City Councilor Bill Ciraco.

The group met with many of the people who make things work, including Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, Sen. Ron Winterton, Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson, as well as organizations like Better Boundaries, Utah League of Cities and Towns, and Equality Utah. Class 31 also received a tour of the Capitol and discussed their class project.
