BIG NEWS & BIG STOKE! 🚲🌵

I am beyond excited to share that I’ve officially stepped into the role of Executive Director for El Grupo Youth Cycling! El Grupo has always been about empowering youth through bicycles, and I couldn't be more honored to lead this incredible community into its next chapter. But wait—there’s more!

The STOKE is coming with me⚡️

I’m thrilled to announce that my existing programs are moving under the El Grupo umbrella! That means:
✨ Girls’ Only Programming options: Strengthening the community for our female-identifying riders!
✨ MTB Skills Clinics
✨ 1:1 MTB Coaching

We are currently working hard behind the scenes to merge our calendars, registration, and logistics. Think of it like a technical climb—it takes a little extra focus, but the view from the top is going to be epic!

2 girls. 1 bike. ZERO quit 💥💪🏼💯🤘🏼

Taking STRONG girl STRONG to a literal new level yesterday 🥳 It turns out riding a tandem is 10% pedaling and 90% communication (and not crashing) 😉 aka once again, the BIKE is the metaphor for life 💜👌🏼💜

Who knew doing hard things could be this much fun? 😜🥰🤩

Is there ANY better way to celebrate than SIX incredible girls learning to properly?! 💥🤩💯

NOPE. 😉🤘🏼💪🏼

We kicked off STRONG girl STRONG with some MTB skills (looking at you 😉), a short ride as a warm up, then got after our core work! 💪🏼🎉💪🏼 and THEY wanted to run for the finisher AND of course they knocked out some challenge-by-choice banded pull ups 😳

These girls SLAYED it. SO PROUD. ☺️🤩

🌵 Connection👌🏼

There is something magical about watching the next generation find their flow. 🚲✨ Saturday’s skills session wasn’t just about mastering the dirt—it was about building confidence, sharing laughs, and strengthening our community 💯 These girls also became fast friends! Same age, same grade, same interests and will be going to the same high school! 😊🤩😊

To our incredible donors: You made this happen. Because of your generosity, these girls have a safe space to push their limits, support one another, and discover what they’re truly capable of.

💡 Today’s Lesson: The “Follow-Me” Flow

One of the best ways to build skill (and community!) is riding in tandem:

* The Connection: Following a lead rider helps you visualize the right line.
* The Safety: Keep a 2-bike-length “safety bubble” to give everyone room to react while staying close enough to share the stoke!
