📣We wanted to share a success story! A young mother of 4 was referred to our housing navigation program last November, she had become homeless after her husband was incarcerated. We got her stabilized in one of our family transitional homes and with the right support, wraparound services and a whole lot of determination she went from sleeping in her car with her babies to securing not one, but two jobs and will be moving into their new apartment next week! 🏠

As you can imagine rebuilding a household is very costly so we are asking if you or anyone you know would be willing to donate the following items to help this mom furnish her new home?
🛏️ Two twin mattresses and sheets
👶 crib mattress
🍽️ silverware, cups, dishes
📺 TV
🛋️ small sofa

If you are able to bless her with any of these items let us know and we can arrange pick ups in Solano County.

"Midnight" donation run with Deanna Chavis !!

We picked up 4 beds (frame, box spring & mattress each), a headbaord, dresser, and lamp. 💪🏼

This was after picking up a bunch of donations from an apartment.

We will be participating in a resource event for our unhoused friends in the Fairfield community on March 29th 3:30-5:30 and are looking for a few generous barbers/hairstylists who would be willing to donate a couple hours and provide free hair cuts. Let us know if you can help or share this request with someone who might.
