A beautiful and powerful display of shirts painted by our clients at Solano Advocates for Victims of Violence (SAVV). Each shirt represents courage, strength, hope, and the voices of survivors who deserve to be heard. 💜🦋

Through The Clothesline Project, we come together to raise awareness, empower survivors, break the silence, and spread hope for a future free from domestic violence.

The Clothesline Project began in 1990, founded by Carol Chichetto, when members of the Cape Cod Women’s Agenda displayed 31 shirts created by survivors of assault, r**e, and child sexual abuse on a clothesline in Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Today, our SAVV team proudly wears purple in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence. 💜

Purple is more than just a color. It represents courage, strength, resilience, and hope. It reminds us of the lives impacted by domestic violence and the importance of standing together to create a community where survivors are heard, believed, and supported.

Through our Clothesline Project shirts, we are amplifying powerful messages that deserve to be seen and heard. Every story matters. Every voice deserves to be heard. Every survivor deserves support. 🦋

Today, we honor those who have lost their lives, those who are still experiencing abuse, those who have found safety, and those who are navigating their own journey toward healing.

Today our advocates & Lilia Breaux, from the Fairfield Police Department’s DV Program, placed purple ribbons throughout Downtown Fairfield and in front of the courthouse, officially recognizing the beginning of Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2026.
These ribbons are more than a symbol of awareness—they are a statement of solidarity. They represent the survivors we have supported, those who are still finding their voice, those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, and every survivor who deserves to know they are not alone.
As our community sees these purple ribbons throughout Fairfield, we hope they serve as a visible reminder that we see you, we believe you, and we stand with you. Always. 💜

What an amazing night! 🌺🎶❤️

Our RAÍCES & RITMOS: A Mariachi Garden Party Fundraiser was filled with culture, music, delicious food, laughter, and most importantly—COMMUNITY! 🇲🇽✨

We are so grateful to everyone who attended, supported, donated, volunteered, and helped make this beautiful event possible. Every bit of support helps Solano Advocates for Victims of Violence continue providing services, hope, and support to survivors and families in our community. 💜

A special thank you to our keynote speaker Tony Porter, our amazing mariachi musicians, our sponsors Made Man Protection, donors, volunteers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. 🙏🏽❤️
