REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR OUR ANNUAL MEETING!

PSSAC and California Forest Soils Council (CFSC) will combine forces for this year's Annual Meeting and Field Tour June 5-8, 2025.

The focus of the meeting will be on the vast soil offerings of beautiful Mendocino County. Stops will include the Ecological Staircase, prescribed fire in coastal forests, climosequence of soil moisture and temperature regimes from coast to inland and ecological relationships, Willits Bypass Mitigation project and grazing, and more!

The Professional Soil Scientists Association of California is pleased to announce their April 2-3, 2020 Annual Meeting and Field Tour. The meeting will be based out of Red Bluff, and will focus on the geomorphology of Pleistocene terraces, associated Hydric Soils, the Food Security Act, Section 404(f) guidance, Section 404 revisions to Waters of the US, farming history, and a visit to the Coyote Creek Conservation Area. PSSAC helped support the early November Soil Judging Contest that was hosted by Humboldt State University. Several PSSAC members assisted with the judging. Great job, students! Congratulations to the Cal Poly SLO team which won the overall team award.

The Professional Soil Scientists Association of California (PSSAC) has scheduled its Annual Meeting and Field Tour for May 30-31, 2019. The topics will focus on the soils and framework of Mare Island and the Napa Valley. The meeting will be based out of the DoubleTree Hotel and Spa in American Canyon. The Professional Soil Scientists Association of California (PSSAC) is looking forward to its March 1-3, 2018 Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held in the Chico, California area. We'll have informative speakers, interesting field tour destinations, and will also support the Collegiate Land Form Judging contest being held that weekend.
