Operation Comfort Case Providing dignity and comfort, we provide handmade pillowcases—something personal, comforting, and made with care.

We serve foster children, children & adults facing illness, seniors, military families, and others in need of emotional support. Operation Comfort Case was founded by two friends—one of whom is a foster parent—after learning that foster children often receive their belongings in garbage bags. Knowing no child should ever have to carry their life in a trash bag, we set out to restore dignity, comfo

rt, and a sense of belonging. Without knowing how to sew, but with a deep desire to help, we began providing handmade pillowcases so children could carry their belongings with pride and have something soft and personal to lay their heads on. What started with foster children quickly grew into a mission to bring comfort to all. Today, Operation Comfort Case serves individuals facing illness—including cancer, kidney disease, heart disease, and other serious conditions—along with seniors, deployed military members, children of deployed service members, and anyone in need of emotional comfort during difficult times. Our pillowcases have been placed in ambulances, police vehicles, hospitals, and care facilities—ready to be given to children and individuals during moments of fear, loneliness, or uncertainty. Each pillowcase includes a message of encouragement, offering reassurance that someone cares. We believe comfort matters, especially in the quiet moments—because the place you spend the most time is on your pillow. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide comfort, dignity, and hope, one pillowcase at a time. There are many ways to support Operation Comfort Case—by donating time, funds, supplies, or simply sharing our story. Every act of kindness helps us grow and allows us to bring comfort to more people who need it most.

Is there anyone that is willing to cut Fabric to size? I have three full containers that need to be cut that are already pre-matched. Please let me know, join Operation Comfort Case Volunteers and text me at 707-208-0817. I can show you how to cut it and get you a mat and rotary blade if needed. It’s already matched.

Since December, we’ve already done over 700 pillowcases, thanks to our incredible volunteers. I’ve gotten them to numerous families and organizations throughout Solano and Sacramento counties.
