Jake Gallerani played his final inning on February 17, 2014. Jake was an amazing athlete and individual. He was a force to be reckoned with on and off the field. Jake excelled in baseball and had a passion for the sport that was unrivaled and consistently recognized by his peers. He played hard, played strong, played with passion and ALWAYS played to WIN! Jake lived his life with the same determi
nation, desire and drive in which he played the game he loved so much and exited this life with courage, strength and much love. It is his parents hope that Jake will continue to inspire others, and that he will always be remembered as the true champion that he was. In order to continue Jake's legacy, and to keep a promise made to him to fulfill his wish of having a baseball field build in his honor, members of the community, along with Jake's parents have formed ForJake, a 501C non profit corporation. It's mission is to build, operate and maintain a baseball field in the town of Uxbridge to honor a champion- Jake Gallerani.
